Kathy White
My name is Kathy White, proud owner of Jawz Auto Imports. As a business owner I have made many goals and aspirations for not only myself but for our team. Growing as an RI has many challenges. I not only succeeded and made many strides as an RI but have also been awarded business of the year from our local chamber of commerce in 2019. A short time later, in 2021 I was honored by PNC Bank to be highlighted for their national forum for Women Who Achieve. We are very goal driven here as we focus on Customer satisfaction, integrity and following the guidelines and rules set forth from NHTSA. It is priority to educate ourselves and customers in the overall RI processes and regulations. I look forward to assisting IMVTA in progressing further on Capitol Hill with NHTSA and CBP. This opportunity to network amongst our peers and to gain ground in Washington DC is an honor to serve on the board.

Craig Lund
My name is Craig Lund and I am the owner/president of Minglewood Importing LLC in Burton, MI. The first experience I had with importing was in 2001 as a buyer for a dealership group in northern Michigan. The combination of my love for wholesale and the live auction combined with the challenge of doing on the spot mileage and currency conversions was a challenge that I thrived on. Over the years I have worked with multiple registered importers and lived through all of the indiscriminate rule changes made by NHTSA and then, very often, revoked by NHTSA. IMVTA was a conversation that I have been a part of since the beginning and I am extremely excited for what I think we can do as an organization. The groundwork being laid in DC right now will serve a significant purpose, and make an enormous difference, for the RI community as a whole. There is much we can look forward to in building this bridge and creating this partnership with our representatives in DC as well as the leadership at NHTSA. As bad as it has seemed at times I truly believe that we can fortify a strong and lasting relationship with NHTSA that will result in streamlined communication, detailed explanations, and collaborative solutions.
